With everything we do at Pixii, we don't believe there's a point in doing it at all unless we can make every part of what we deliver exactly the way things should be.
This applies to our eco footprint too.
It seemed crazy that it was impossible to get pads and tampons without a long term plastic impact.
Sure, some companies make them better than others - there are organic cotton, biodegradable options out there. But most come in plastic wrappers, and often the boxes are wrapped in a plastic "protective" film as well. All of these pieces take over 400 years in landfill to degrade.
We want to do better.
Our tampons are sealed in a food-grade paper wrap so there is no plastic anywhere - not in the tampon, not in wrapper, not in the box or over the box.
The pads are wrapped in a biodegradable plant-based biofilm.
Completely plastic-free.
Inside and out.
The way things should be.
No synthetic materials, bleaches, chemicals, dyes, plastics or perfumes.
